A short, honest list of what this site stores on your device, and how to change your answer whenever you want.
Nothing that tracks you runs until you accept. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, the only thing stored is the record of that choice, and every part of this site still works. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not sell anything about you, and there is no third party on these pages other than HubSpot.
| Name | Set by | What it is for | How long it lasts | Needs your yes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
peel-cookie-consent | This site | Remembers whether you accepted or declined. Without it the banner would ask again on every page. | Until you clear your browser data | No |
hubspotutk | HubSpot | Gives your browser an anonymous ID, so that if you later request the white paper or book a demo, HubSpot can connect it to the pages you looked at first. | About 6 months | Yes |
__hstc, __hssrc, __hssc | HubSpot | Counts visits and sessions so we can see which pages people actually read and which ones they skip. | __hstc about 6 months, __hssc 30 minutes, __hssrc for the browser session | Yes |
Use the cookie settings control, which also sits at the bottom of every page. Declining after you accepted also clears the HubSpot cookies you picked up in the meantime.
You can also clear cookies in your browser settings at any time, which has the same effect and will bring the banner back.
Requesting the white paper, booking a demo or sending us a note all send what you typed to HubSpot, where we read it and reply. That happens whether or not you accepted cookies, because you asked us for something. The difference is that without the cookie there is nothing linking your request to the pages you read beforehand.
Email joy@peelbusinessdesign.com and a person will answer.
We would like to set analytics cookies so we can see which pages people find useful. They are not set unless you say yes, and the site works either way. What these cookies do.
